How long does a Shopify migration take?

Most migrations take [X–X] weeks from discovery to launch. The timeline depends on your current platform, how much data and how many integrations move across, and how much of the design changes.

How much does it cost to migrate to Shopify Plus?

Migrations typically start from £[PRICE]. We give you a fixed-scope plan after discovery, so the cost is agreed before the build starts.

Will we lose our SEO rankings when we migrate?

Not if the migration is planned properly. We benchmark your rankings and traffic first, map every URL to a redirect, keep your content and metadata, and monitor search performance closely after launch.

Will there be downtime during the switch?

No. We build and test on Shopify while your current site keeps trading, then run a final sync of recent orders and customers before switching the domain over, usually at a quiet time.

Can customer accounts and passwords be migrated?

Customer accounts, order history and addresses can be migrated. Passwords can't be moved between platforms for security reasons, so we set up a smooth account reactivation flow for returning customers.

Do we need Shopify Plus, or will standard Shopify do?

Not every brand needs Plus. It earns its fee when you need B2B, multiple markets or stores, checkout customisation or higher volumes. We'll recommend the plan that fits.
